Jenny Slate is an American actress, comedian and author and she is best known for her role as Bonnie in the 2017 movie Gifted and as Dr. Dora Skirth in the 2018 movie Venom.

Jenny Slate was born Jenny Sarah Slate on the 25th of March, 1982 in Milton, Massachusetts, United States and she was born to her father Ron Slate, a businessman and poet who was once a vice president of global communications for the EMC Corporation and he later went on to become CEO of a Biotech startup and she was born to her mother Nancy Slate, a Ceramicist and she grew up with an older sister named Abigail and a younger sister named Stacey and she was raised in a Jewish family.
Jenny Slate attended Milton Academy; she later enrolled at Columbia University, where she graduated with a major in literature in 2004.
